Here’s a situation that’s more common than you might think.
You’re a creator. Maybe you take commissions, work with brands, do freelance design or photography or writing. Your business is real. Your clients are real. Your invoices are real. But the phone number on all of it? It’s your personal cell. The one your mom calls. The one your friends text at midnight. The one that, if it ever ends up on the wrong listing or in the wrong hands, creates a problem you can’t easily undo.
Or, let’s say you’re a small business. A local shop, a restaurant, a service that people call to book appointments or ask questions. You need a phone presence that sounds professional: a real greeting, a voicemail system that actually works, a number that routes calls the way you want. But you don’t have an IT department, and you don’t have time to become one.
Both of these situations have the same root problem: the phone infrastructure that professional businesses rely on has historically required either expensive enterprise solutions or a willingness to learn more about VoIP technology than most people ever want to know.
That’s what we built the Managed Business Phone Line service to fix.
So, what is it?
Creator Media Services now offers a fully managed business phone line as a core service offering. You get a dedicated local phone number in your preferred area code (or, you can port a number in if you really want!), configured and maintained entirely by us. When someone calls your number, they hear a professional greeting. Your phone rings, showing your managed business number, not the caller’s number*, so you always know it’s a business call before you answer. Press 1 to accept the call, press 2 to send it to voicemail. If you don’t answer, the call goes to a professional voicemail box and the recording lands in your email.
That’s the experience on day one: fully configured without you touching a single setting.
E911 emergency service is activated on every line. Your caller ID name, such as your business name, is configured as part of onboarding and displayed when you call out**. Your call flow, your greeting, your voicemail, your forwarding number? All set up by us and maintained by us. When something needs to change, you submit a request through the Telephony Service Desk and we handle it.
So, what makes this different?
We want to be honest about this, because there are a lot of virtual phone services out there and most of them aren’t doing what we’re doing.
Services like Grasshopper, Google Voice for Google Workspace, and Quo give you a number and a dashboard. The dashboard is the product. You configure your own call routing, manage your own voicemail settings, troubleshoot your own connection issues, and hope everything works correctly. If something breaks at 9 PM on a Tuesday when you’re supposed to be on a call with a client, you’re filing a support ticket and waiting to be told how to fix it.
When you’re a LaCelle 3 Media LLC telephony client, you have a dedicated Telephony Service Desk. A real support system with real response SLAs, canned workflows, and a 24/7 emergency operator for critical outages. If your line goes down and you can’t make or receive calls, you call +1 (509) 715-3517, press 1, and a live operator triages your situation and opens a priority ticket immediately. Not a chat bot. Not a help article. A person.
The infrastructure underneath your managed phone line is also carrier-grade. Every outbound call carries STIR/SHAKEN Attestation A, the highest available call authentication level, which means your calls are less likely to be flagged as spam by recipients’ carriers. E911 is routed through a real PSAP routing system. 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline routing is active at the carrier level. These aren’t things most virtual phone services bother to configure correctly, let alone explain clearly.
The compliance picture is also complete. LaCelle 3 Media LLC is registered with the FCC and the Universal Service Administrative Company. We’ve filed in the Robocall Mitigation Database. We hold a binding tax ruling from the Washington State Department of Revenue confirming the correct B&O tax classification for our service. We collect and remit Washington state E911 and 988 excise taxes on behalf of our clients. We file CPNI annual certifications. We did all of this before we took a single client, because that’s just the right (and legal!) way to do it.
The point is that none of that is something you need to care about as a client. It’s something you benefit from without thinking about it.
So, what are the features?
Every managed phone line includes a dedicated local number, professional IVR greeting, Ring Group call screening with Press 1/2, voicemail with email delivery, E911 registration, CNAM setup, and ongoing management through the Telephony Service Desk. The monthly management fee is $35, plus $2/month per line. Optional add-ons are available for clients who need more.
Business hours routing sends calls to your number during open hours and directly to voicemail (or another destination) after hours, so you can actually disconnect without missing business calls that came in while you were available. Call hunting rings multiple numbers in sequence if the first doesn’t answer. A conference bridge lets you run multi-party calls from your business number. Call recording captures conversations for your records, with the appropriate consent language built into your greeting. Virtual fax delivers inbound faxes to your email as PDFs (useful for clients who deal with contracts, insurance, or government agencies that still insist on fax.)
For clients in the Pullman, WA and Moscow, ID area who want a physical desk phone, we offer on-site setup***. We’ll come to your location, configure an IP phone or analog adapter, run test calls, and make sure everything works before we leave. Remote configuration is also available for clients anywhere.
A Phone Service Balance covers your usage. Inbound and outbound call minutes at $0.01/minute, E911 carrier fees, and any enabled add-on usage with automatic replenishment when it runs low. Credit blocks start at $15 and go up to $60 for higher-volume clients. You choose the size that fits your usage at onboarding and we handle the rest.
What is the client experience like?
You fill out a short inquiry form at https://cms.lacelle3.com/services/voip/inquiry/. We reach out to discuss your needs and confirm the details. We send you the Service Agreement, E911 Disclosure, and CPNI Policy for review. Once you sign the Service Order and other documents, we provision your number (or port in your number), configure your full call flow, activate E911, submit your CNAM, and test every path end-to-end. We create your Telephony Service Desk portal account so you can submit requests and track tickets going forward. We send you a welcome package with everything you need: your number, your voicemail PIN, your portal login, and a clear guide to what you can self-service versus what to route through us.
Then, you’re live! Your business has a phone number that sounds like a business, and your personal number stays private. And any time something needs to change, you know exactly where to go.
So, who is this for?
This service is built with two kinds of clients in mind.
The first is the content creator or freelancer who is running a real business (think of taking commissions, working with brands, fielding press inquiries) and wants their phone infrastructure to match the level of seriousness with which they approach their work. You don’t need enterprise telephony, but rather a professional line that works, and is handled by someone who knows what they’re doing, at a price point that makes sense for where you are.
The second is the small business (think a local shop, a restaurant, a service provider) that wants a professional phone presence without paying enterprise prices or spending hours in a VoIP configuration panel. You want a phone that works, a voicemail that delivers, and a team you can call when something goes wrong.
If either of those is you, we built this for you.

Existing clients can reach the Telephony Service Desk at techops.telephony@lacelle3.com or +1 (509) 715-3517.
*The caller’s number will show if you use a physical desk phone or softphone. This only applies to calls routed by call forwarding to an external number.
**Typically, CNAM is only displayed on landlines, VoIP and business phones, and some cell phones with carries that provide CNAM service. It may not show on all devices, like traditional cell phones.
***Subject to the company’s discretion and availability.
